Any way to force a game to run on a secondary monitor in a dual mon setup?

The power of Google has failed me on this one. I have a 22" widescreen + 19" 12x12 dual monitor setup. The big one's my baby and my primary monitor, but there's no way to force the correct aspect ratio on it in Starcraft. So I was wondering if I could force Starcraft (and only Starcraft) to run on my secondary monitor?

A quick solution (and better than switching cables) would be to change the primary monitor in the software just before running the game. And then obviously back after playing (still a pita).

Starcraft isn't 3D.

I have the same setup (and for the same reason)...but there's no such thing as a 4:3 aspect ratio 19" monitor is there? I had to buy a 20"

What is the make/model number? I really don't need a 20"...but the only 4:3s I could find were either 15" (to small and still cost $150) or 20" (a little to big for my tastes in a second monitor, but not much more expensive)

Hyundai L90D, it's not technically 4:3, it's 1280x1024 (1280x960 = 4:3)

Thats the trouble with old games that don't support widescreen...most of them have poor to non-existant windowed mode support as well!

basicially no, i tried to find out an answer to this years ago, in a multi mon setup games generally will only play on the "Primary" monitor, IDk if its game code or the vid card driver the do it, but unless it has support for more then 1 mon it only plays on the primary

You can set your main monitor to the off monitor and move all the objects over to the off-monitor using software (such as the taskbar, icons, etc). It's a hack fix, but it might work.

Well, I don't know if this is an elegant solution...but I setup my second monitor off the second port, and change the spanning option to "clone". The game was output to both monitors when I ran it.

I was only testing at the time and probably wouldn't use that as a primary solution.

Still looking for a way to do this. Its a PITA to switch it from secondary to primary all the time, so I just leave it at primary. Kinda defeats the point (at least for me) of having a dual setup.

I've been looking for the same solution with no luck either. It only takes me a few seconds to switch to my secondary monitor through the Nvidia control panel but I'd still like to have a little profiler or something that I could set up for each individual game. If I find something I'll post it here.
