But I want to use it legitimately. Does the EXE do anything "special" to my files?

all the EXE does is mirror your desktop upside down. You can't actually do anything with it. IIRC, if you click the mouse, it returns to normal.

You need "Pivot" software...a program made for LCD monitors that pivot 90 degrees. Their newest drivers can pivot the screen any one of the four directions. I'm using it on a Mag 15" monitor that pivots.
There is a free download that works for 30 days....supports many different video cards.

I noticed that too. You can rotate the screen a complete 180 degrees or just 90 to the left or right. Although I'm still wondering about the usefullness of this feature. Why would you want to flip the screen upside down?

Because you mounted the monitor to the bottom of a shelf and otherwise the picture would be upside down because the monitor is.

Oh wow, cool, I would have never thought of that! That actually might be a good way to get back some of my desktop space I lost after going with dual monitors. But I'd have to build a shelf above the desk first....

And that shelf then gets you more space above your desk to store crap on.

Then you don't want to flip (mirror) the image, you want to rotate it. Big difference. :)

If you actually want to use the monitor upside-down, remember the software has to flip the mouse movements also....Pivot software does that.
