Any way to display same screen on two monitors?

I'm trying to display the same dsktop on my CRT monitor and my HDTV.

So far, all I've been able to do is EXTEND my desktop using the two outputs on my X800XT video card.

I also tried using a VGA splitter, but then only one display had a picture while the other one was blank.

Yes there is. Enable "Clone" mode, not extended desktop. This is a graphics hardware feature, not a Windows control, so you'll need to visit the ATI control center to do that.

I believe if you just don't set up ANY dual monitor settings, i.e. pretend you only have one monitor, but hook up two, it will just show the same thing on both screens.

Thanks, didn't see that option. I'll try that when I get home.
Ah, ATI control center, no wonder I didn't see it.

Thanks, but apparently not. The second monitor displayed "no signal" until the extended desktop function was activated.

Ahh, okay. Perhaps since it's an HDTV. I know with my two CRTs they both just work automatically I think.

I have always had to go into the NVIDIA TwinView properties and enable the second monitor from my primary display.

Yep, that did it.

Thanks a lot.
