Any way to disable IE?

Friends are getting high speed instead of their AOL dial up. They have a teenager who is incredibly immature and they have to monitor everything she does.

Is there any way to disable IE somehow or something that they can force the kid to have to go through AOL to get online? I can delete the IE icons and such which will probably be all it takes, but I'm not sure if there's anything else to do without unisntalling IE since that's usually bad.

THey are running XP Home.
