Any way to delay audio?

Unfortunately my new HDTV has video input lag. Is it possible to get the audio output of Windows to delay? I can do that with Media Player Classic, but haven't yet found a way to do that with web streaming videos (mostly Flash).
 
What is outputting the sound? The TV itself or is audio going to an AVR? Most AVRs have some sort of audio delay setting, possibly the TV as well. Have you played around in the various menus to see if there is such a setting?
