I'm pretty upset that I bought my Audigy 2 about 2 months before the ZS came out. Is there any way to decode dts with the Audigy 2.
Is there really any fundamental difference between the two cards, is it possible there will be future support for dts with new drivers.

would a software decoder be worth while. Would I actually be able to get true dts/dts-es with a software decoder Audigy 2 plat. and the megaworks 6.1. Any info on the topic of the decoder built in to the audigy 2, possible upgrades or software decoding would be much appreciated. Thanks

All the major software DVD players support DTS decoding, so the soundcard doesn't have to.

Its either you have a software decoder such as WinDVD/PowerDVD to decode it or just use the Audigy's digital out and hook it to an external decoder/receiver. I have a regular AV receiver paired up with my PC so this was never a problem for me.
