Any way to customize thread titles?

Two questions:

1. Is there any way to remove the bold attribute from thread titles? Bold + underline is overkill and hard on the eyes.

2. Is there any way to remove "topic summaries" from being displayed? These simply add noise and also make things hard on the eyes.

not through preferences in your profile.

if you use a browser such as firefox, then maybe yes as you can edit the css object controlling the links (ftalternatingbarlinksmall) to your own liking.
 
Well they seem to be gone now. Hopefully something was added to the profiles so I can bring them back. I kind of enjoyed them. :|
