I capture some snowboarding videos off a camcorder with the ATI Video In capture program on my Radeon. I wanted to do it in divx but when I selected that it said only 37 minutes on the hard drive. Well the hard drive is about 15gb so whatever. No matter what avi compressor I used it still said 37min so I had to chose .mpeg.
Well with .mpeg a 15min movie with sound is roughly 1gb. That kind of hurts and while I captured them all and they fit, I don't think I'll have enough room to put the rest on and to edit them all into one big movie.
The quality is real good except the size kinda sucks. Is there any way I can convert those to divx since a good quality divx movie that is 1 hour, 15 min long or so is around 650-700mb.
