Any way to clean up a cable TV signal? Update.

It's around 3000 kbps (kilobytes), I'm pretty sure it's not capped

I just got my new house (10 years old) and I still had the old cable in it. Replaced it with RJ6 and things are much better now.
Cable company also came out and laid a whole new cable from the street to the house. I feel you pain!
