Any way to change the maxinum number of people on your AIM list to more than 160?

I tried editing the registry entry for the max number of buddies, but it didn't seem to work. Anyone know if its possible to add more than 160 people on you list?

<< there is no way you talk to more then 160 people reguraly >>

Thing is that AOL know memorizes your buddies so you can log onto any other computer and still have your buddy list with you. What happens when you have over 160 and you use another computer? Will all 160+ buddies transfer or will some be cut off?

160 is an insane amount of people to talk to.......how do you keep them all straight???

I have around 160 as well.. the way I keep them all straight is by creating their own group. I.E. if your name is ABC and your screen name is XYZ, I would create a group ABC and put your screen name in that group.

<< you have 160 friends? why are you still posting here? >>

Possible reasons include:

* 120 of them have names like Cindy69@aimpr0n.com and JessicaDoesItFor$@hosrus.com;
* 130 of them are people he's cyber-stalking and they won't talk back; or
* There's only 20 individuals, but they each have 8 aim nicks.

Just delete the older ones geez. I know having a larger buddy list that everyone else somehow makes you feel good about yourself, but its really not neccessary. I used to have a 100 person AIM list, now its down to 30....
