Any way to change the function of the "specialty" keys on a keyboard?

I have a Logitech Internet Keyboard. It's a standard 104-key keyboard with 3 extra functionality buttons. They are specifically: "WWW" (loads up IE), "Mail" (loads up OE) & "Search" (loads up the Search panel in IE).

These 3 buttons are TOTALLY useless to me. On my old MS Internet Keyboard, it had a useful button to load up My Computer and the Calculator. I'd like to reassign 2 of these buttons to load up My Computer and the Calculator. Is there anyway I can do that?

PS: Loading up My Computer via a keypress is pretty cool. It really saves time when you are lazy and don't want to minimize all of your windows and double clicking on My Computer :D

I've got the cordless iTouch keyboard that I think probably works essentially like yours. Haven't had the driver installed for a couple of years, yet your question prompted me to download the driver (5 megs means a couple of hours at my house) and it would seem that what you want to do is fairly simple.

In the Logitech Configuration, choose a button such as Go. Where it says Select the web site or function you want for the Go key: select Program out of the drop down menu and then use Browse to navigate to C:\WINDOWS\Calc.exe

That would give you the calculator. I don't know how you would get to My Computer. Maybe you would want to use C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe instead.

I don't even have a My Computer on my system anymore. I totally replaced it with a connection to Mozilla using info found here. A case of modifying instructions to reach a goal other than that outlined.

In any case, if your configuration options are like mine I suppose you could link just about any executable to those buttons.
