Any way to change Google's background color?

Google.com's white background is kind of irritating to watch at times when my eyes are being sensitive, particularly at night. I prefer white text on a black or dark background, and was just wondering if there are any sites with the google search engine that have this color scheme.

Still takes you to the website for search results though.

What would be nice is a customizable standalone application you could download that would allow you to access google from it.

It would take about 5 minutes to write a quick web app which would run a Google search on your behalf, change the background color to something other than white, and return the modified page to you....

If it takes so little time then maybe somebody's done it and could show me? 🙂

If someone doesn't have something posted up by tomorrow, I'll write one up for you...

Actually i found what i was looking for. Userstyles.org has a plug-in extension for Firefox, Flock, or Thunderbird browsers that allows you to add "styles" to change the appearance of any website you want. They had several pre-made styles for google.com, one of which was the white-on-black background scheme i was looking for.
