Any way to adjust the fan speed of my videocard?

i have an EVGA 7800 GT that runs pretty cool, but i cant get it past 463 on the core because my system freezes if i go and higher. im hoping maybe if i can speed up the fan a little, it will allow me to overclock a little higher.

Fan speed on vid cards has been throttled automatically for some time now. The only manufacturer that makes a utility like you want (that I am aware of) is ASUS with thier SmartDoctor utility. Even that though, only allows you to throttle the fans speed down, because without the utility installed it defaults to full speed. SmartDoctor is for quiet operation.
