Any way to 1) pin bookmarks to each tab and 2) right click search in Google Chrome?

Are there any Chrome extensions or options for pinning bookmarks and right click searches?

I primarily use Internet Explorer 9 now. I would like to use Google Chrome but I do not because I very much like pinning my favorites to their own pane on my browser so the list is always there. Also, I like the map and search accelerators where I can right click addresses and open a map of it (found MapMe extension which does this) and searching the highlighted word or phrasevia a simple right click and chossing the search engine (have not found one for that.)

So are there any extensions or options to do the following two things in Chrome:

1) Pin my bookmarks to a static frame on every tab I open so the list is always there?

2) an Extension/option that will allow my to highlight a word or phrase and then do a right click that opens a search for the highlighted word/phrase in a new tab?

Is the bookmarks bar not acceptable for this? Menu-->Bookmarks-->Show bookmarks bar

2) an Extension/option that will allow my to highlight a word or phrase and then do a right click that opens a search for the highlighted word/phrase in a new tab?

It's built-in.

I do the above when I use Chrome but I would very much like it to be a permanent pane on the side of browser (always down and sitting there like in IE if you pin the Favorites Center and like I heard you can do in Firefox) versus a pull-down menu as it is with that option above in Chrome. I hate pull-down menus of long lists because if your cursor slips off the pull-down menu, it all goes away and you have to start over, where a permanent list stays put.

If one could pin Book Mark Manager to every opened tab, versus its own tab, that would be great.

It's built-in.

Duhhh - I did not even try it before now, assuming it was not there. Thanks.

Bookmarks on a bar permanently affixed to the left side (Neat Bookmarks)

Searching - drag and drop, not right click (easier)

Thanks I will try them.

Neat Bookmarks is neat : ) But I can only have it on right and it goes away iif a new tab is opened (you have to click it to open it again.) Were you able to make it stay and on the left? If so, how?

Oh, damn. Maybe sidebar bookmarks isn't an option with normal Chrome. I use an offshoot of chrome called "Coolnovo" (formerly chromeplus). It has a sidebar where neat bookmarks can stay permanently.
