Any way or extension to make firefox....

Is there an option or extension to make firefox jump back to the last tab when you close a tab. What I mean is say you are browsing a site that is your third tab in line, and you click a link that opens a new tab at the end of your line of tabs. When you close that tab firefox goes to the next tab at the end of the line, rather then back to the tab of the site that you clicked to open the new tab. I would prefer it jump back to the original tab. Any way to do this?

Most tab related extensions will give you this option. I won't recommend a specific one because I haven't really liked the ones I've tried. It might be possible without an extension (as in, just and about:config tweak) but I'm not aware of how to do it.

If I understand correctly then perhaps FLST would be good (focus last selected tab).

You could try opera, it does that automatically.
