Any Vintage Toy Car Collectors Out There??

OK, This is a longshot but you've come through before so here goes...

My brother-in-law has a 1940's era model car, a roadster, cast metal, approx. 1/25 scale that says "Indianapolis Speedway" on it. It appears to be signed by a driver of that era. Sorry I don't have more specifics, but I was hoping someone here who was into this may be able to point me in the right direction to try to determine it's authenticity, value, and demand as a collectable. Thanks
