I drop one of my antiboitic pills and my dog grabbed one and bit into it then spit it out i thing some when down to his stomach. Is he alright?

As a rule of thumb, if a drug is OK for YOU to take, it's also OK for a dog.

However, I wouldn't give your dog anything you might get from Bob down the street....

GOogle for the drug type and pets and see if you find anything that it's toxic or something. Or if really worried about it, get your dog to gag by sticking your fingers down his throat or something.

But I wouldn't worry about it too bad unless it was something super powerful...

OR just cal a Walgreen with a 24-hour pharmacy and see if they know.

If it's just an antibiotic don't sweat it. He'll be fine. My Minitaure Pinscher ate a Percocet once. He's still living. He still bugs me for Percocet though.

I am a vet but we never covered this in Basic Training or AIT.

Agreed, I do not see how my prior military service qualifies me to answer the question.

Anyways, the dog is fine. Just do not give it any alcohol since drugs and alcohol do not mix. Especially for the little doggies.
