Any Verizon wireless people here?

My contract is coming up soon and I was just wondering what is the "best bang for the buck" phone now?

on verizon, none.

their phones are pricey unless you go to a shady dealer that sucks your life away in a contract. i want the LG one when my contract is up at the end of next month (picture phone) and in stores that's 150 right now.

Best bang for the bucks are the LG VX phones, great sets of features and great price. Those aren't too big either

The Audiovox that Lord Jizzo mentions is huge.

My friend has a T730. For some reason no one sells it, I have no idea where he got one. It's NOT the 720 that's been out for a year or even the 721. Anyways, by bang for the buck do you want a simple phone that makes calls, or great value but lots of technology in it?

I'm with Sprint right now... incredible phones that actually still look like phones (referring to things like the Ngauge and the sidekick )

the man speaks the truth. I'm with Tmobile and although I got a nice phone and nice plan (650 anytime, unlimite n/w), I'm counting the days until I can switch to Verizon. I have no problem dropping $150 for decent phone for what appears to be awesome coverage.

yea coverage is hot - and their customer service is hot - i just recently went over 145 minutes on my last bill and i upgraded my plan this month to the 400 minute plan - they basically said just make ur last bill 40 bucks too and wipe out ur 112 dollar phone bill.

Great Value with lots of tech in it. Doesn't have to have a camera though. I am mainly looking for a polyphonic ring and indiglo backlighting.

for a techie, you gotta love verizons EXPRESS net which gives you 144 internet access vs 56k for everyone else.

you can browse just coming off your minutes, you can pay per mb downloaded or you can go unlimited for $79.00 / month.

i'm waiting for the unlimited to come down to about $45.00 / month and then i'll buy a Sierra aircard.

i just switched to verizon, and got the LG 6000 something or other.. the camera phone.

anyhow-- its pretty cool, definetly not hte best bang for your buck, but it had a 50 dollar rebate so it wasnt too bad.


my G/F just got a Samsung A910, or something like that-- anyhow, its pretty basic, but really nice. Gets a lot better signal than my phone in most areas.

I'm with AT&T right now, but i'm looking to join Verizon also. They definately have the best coverage.. .and their plans aren't that expensive. I'm just waiting to see when they're going to come up with their holiday promotional plans.

going by what you described, get the VX4400. its dependable and works well. no camera, but still a good, working color phone.

Is it cracked or is it just not displaying? I have had the problem of it not displaying and just took out the battery and replaced it and everything worked fine

no it cracked internally. you can see teh LCD stuff its in 1 big puddle now

I just signed up for a new contract with Verizon wireless. I went from AT&T gsm and Verizon is soooo much better! I got the LGVX600 phone and it has tons of cool features. I went from 0 bars (with At&T) at my girlfriends house to 3 bars with Verizon. Verizon pwns!
