Any vendor let you return monitor with bad pixel?

I'm looking for a 30" monitor, particularly at the Samsung that has better refresh rates than the rest of them.

Newegg carries them, and the price is right, but they only let you exchange for a different one if the one they ship you has more than like 6 or 8 dead pixels. Now, I've been told that even a single dead pixel will ruin your world.

I don't want to pay $1,200 plus for a monitor only to have it look like a pixel-pin cusion.

Does anyone know of any online vendors that will sell you the monitor and if it has any busted pixels whatsoever let you exchange it for one that does not?

I have never seen a group of 5 pixels together in the middle of a screen before.

No, I don't mean all lined up, just 5 or 6 pixels in about as bad of spots as they could possibly be in.

I had a Dell 2005FPW with one stuck green pixel almost in the center of the screen, and the only time I could ever see it was if the screen was completely blank. It really didn't interfere with my usage at all.

I have one stuck pixel in the lower left my my westinghouse monitor. Really hard to see even if i'm looking for it. If it was right in the middle of the screen then it could be annoying I suppose; but def not a "Ruin your world.. this monitor is totally unuseable" problem.

My current display has GIANT pixels (relatively speaking) the largest pixels you are going to see and I can BARELY spot the single dead pixel on my screen with a solid black background...

I have 983,040 on my display. The display you are considering has 4,096,000 pixels, over 4 times what I have on my display to give you an idea... Therefore, my pixels are 4 times larger than what your display have and if I can barely find my dead pixel, I doubt you would even find a dead pixel on that 30" UNLESS you checked SOLID BLACK, BLUE, RED, GREEN, WHITE from 1 inch away from the screen.

Some people make a huge deal over stuck/dead pixels, BUT in most cases you can't even notice them.

I have seen someone make a huge deal over a stuck pixel, but then noticed this fella didn't ever CLEAN his screen! Go figure... Because a dead pixel is harder to spot then a spec of dust.

JUST "MY" Opinion... Then again, I am not a extreemely picky videophile.
