I am going to try vegetarianism for about a month.

Do you have any recipes, hints, or advice?

stir-fry! Mac & Cheese! Jimmy John's #13 (no mayo)

Chinese or asia resturants usually has good veggie options

if you get a craving for fast food there's the BK Veggie

since you're just starting i don't suggest you try cooking Tofu until you've tried it done right (ie. gone to a resturant)

Nope. I have over 100lbs of Black Angus hamburger and steaks in my freezer. You'll have to pry that from my cold dead fingers.

I have been for the last 5 years... but I will admit that I never really ate a 'proper' diet, although I'm still healthy.. by no means some skinny little stick. It's a lot easier now that I am living in the dorms, as they always offer lots of options. I eat fish too, so it is a lot easier.

When's dinner?

I doubt I could go a day without eating meat mustless a whole month.

What did vegetables ever do to you, glen?

I am not a vegetarian, but I will not eat anything that looks like it was once alive. I'll eat a burger but not a rib steak. A burger doesn't look like a piece of dead cow. I won't eat wings either, but I will eat chicken breasts. As long as it doesn't look like a dead animal. Not because I feel bad for the animal, just because it disgusts me.

Along with fruits and veggies, you can try some vegetarian meats (Worthington, Loma Linda, etc...).
Nuts are good source of nutrition
Flax seed oil is a good source of omega-3's
If you can eat eggs/drink milk, they're pretty good too. :)
Good luck!

stir-fried tofu is pretty good with soy sauce paste. just don't stir too hard. :)
