Any value in Canon AT1 35mm film camera?

Many years ago, I bought a Canon AT1 35mm film camera and a couple of lenses and played with photography until I became bored with it. I still have the camera, lenses and flash and was wondering if these items are of any value to anyone.

I really don't care too much about getting money for them, but didn't know if anyone would even be interested in having these items since everything has now gone digital.

Craigslist it and advertise as retro. I've seen Canon AE-1's with 50mm lens advertised at $250.

Yep, there is not much of a market for standard FD bodies and lenses.

You could purchase an FD to EOS adapter and use those lenses on a modern (EOS) body. The controls would be all manual of course, but you could get some use out of the FD lenses.

AE-1s are worth about $180 around here with the stock FD lenses. Without the AE-1's shutter speed auto mode, its worth not nearly as much. You can see probably $100 for it.

that's a bit closer to the price i'd expect, though i'd want a lens with that.


there's a very few japanese manual focus SLRs/compact rangefinders that are worth paying over $100 for, and those are all pro level (nikon F, canon F1, OM-3, etc.)

and wtf at fm2ns going for $300? you can get an F3 for less

At the camera show recently my wife finally picked up her (old) New F1 - which was over $300. I recall seeing AE-1's there for at least $150, mint copies at over $200 and the CL I linked show that as well. Damn, a body for $29 is wild.

AT-1's well they are fairly rare here.Maybe it shows how much artistic credit my locale has?

Last weekend I purchased a Canon At1 for $20. It came with a beautiful diamond leather case. It came with the flash and three lenses. One lens is a wide angle multi coated 28 mm F2 .8 automatic macro lens by toyo. One of the other lenses is a tiffen 55mm SKY 1-A. And the last lens is a 100–200 MM zoom lens if its own leather case. It also has tons of accessories including the instruction manual and a long cable with a little pushbutton on it. I am just wondering what the whole set may be worth.
