I've so much old hardware lying around including several Intel and AMD 486/100 cpus and a dozen SIMMS.

You could build some routers/firewalls with them using linux (or a port) and sell them.

 
I know a few people that use old PC's for POS (point of sale, NOT what you may be thinking 😉 ) in video stores. Running an old DOS-based inventory program for keeping track or customers and thier rentals. Most of these little mom & pop video stores are going to disappear with Blockbuster & Holywood coming to town, but there is still a market (albeit small) for these type of machines....
