Any useless yard sign anecdotes?

I was driving to the family lake house in very rural upstate NY a few weeks ago and noted a very distinct lack of Trump signs compared to any time inside the last few years. I saw like two on my usual route compared to 30 or so before.

There are only local political signs anywhere around where I live in MA. One house used to have a few Trump things but they took it all down after Jan 6.

Haven't noticed any new ones yet. My one neighbor around the block has a giant Trump banner in his garage (which is often open to show it off) but it's been up since 2016. His American flag he covered in 2020 with a black cover but you can barely see the stars through it and it's upside down.

A few streets over there was a giant (I mean like 2-foot tall stencil letters) sign along one roof saying "LET'S GO BRANDON!" after 2020 but I'd assume (?) it's now down, considering Joe is gone. Who knows, these people are all nutsacks.

A wild-ass guess of signs and bumper stickers seen in my county since 2016 broken down by party:
Republican: 1000
Democrat: 20 (and these are almost all Bernie bumper stickers).

I can't recall a single Hillary or Biden yard sign. Yet my county barely went to Biden. I'm sure that says something. I know personally that I'd be worried about my car if I had a Democrat bumper sticker.

I'm not one to put any bumper stickers on my car... no need to invite someone to deface my vehicle. I'm even ambivalent having a college license plate frame.

I saw a "Biden is committing genocide, vote Jill Stein 2024" in a yard last week. Glad I'm not forced with that decision in November.
If you’re concerned about human welfare then voting Jill Stein so Trump wins seems like the dumbest move one could make.

The local idiot with the "Don't blame me I voted for Trump" sign, finally got some competition. They are across street about 2 houses down with a Vote Taylor Swift sign.
If Swift became VP, she would forego more money than Trump ever stole or inherited.

You could just pour your front yard over with concrete. Hard to stick a sign in that.
Don't recommend you do it. But I'm not your dad.

Yeah, voting Green (or whatever party Jill Stein has latched onto these days) is amazingly self-defeating, if your goal is to actually protect the environment. Not that the Democrats are amazing, but mediocre is better than "hell bent on destroying it in the name of corporate capitalism" and "Climate Change is fake!". Those are your two choices in a grown-up world of candidates that actually could win.

Any political party that only runs for the least likely office it could possibly win is a grift at best...usually it's a paid ratfuck by Republicans in reality. Jill Stein is a Russian-paid traitor.

Or you can just ignore your lying eyes. I'm sure proud traitor Michael Flynn, Vladimir Putin, and Jill Stein all sitting at the same table was a huge fucking coincidence.

I once saw a yard sign.

That's a pretty useless yard-sign anecdote, no?

I have lots more useless anecdotes, not all of them yard-sign related.
