any use for getting 1GB of DDRAM?

No they wouldn't they would still say its 256-512 but since its so cheap why not go for a gig for bragging rights.
 
Man..

One wants a Gig of RAM, another wants an EXTRA burner.. Do you people have too much money or something?! How about something useful, such as a faster videocard, a second HD you can use as a backup, or even better speakers?...

Better yet, go on Ebay and get a load of all kinds of cool sh*t! 🙂
 
I did a total upgrade. CPU, Motherboard and Ram. Went from 384 MB PC133 CAS 2 to 768 PC2100 CAS 2.5. I gotta' tell you it just is not that big a jump in performance. Now when I work with large image files >100MB, it makes a difference. But other than that I just don't see that big a difference. Now I have some nice benchmarks......
