Any USB3.0 enclosures support SMART data?

I currently have a AMS Venus USB3 2.5" enclosure and I can't get it to read SMART data from drives. Are there any 2.5" USB3 ones that can?
 
I just tried HDD Sentinal with my StarTech.com dock and it works, so I guess it does. I don't think most other programs can do that, so kudos to HDD Sentinel.
 
I'm going to try a Linux Live USB with smartmontools included to see if I can read with that. I have read that Asmedia 2105 chipset work in Linux with Smartmontools.
 
I tried a Gparted Live USB, Smartmontools in Windows 10, HD Sentinel, and HD Tune Pro and nothing could read Smart from this enclosure.
