to all the people who say Unix is not Linux, go learn a real Unix blablabla ....
You are complely correct, they are like apples and oranges.
However, if you learn one, you can pick up on the others with great ease. Comparing an Apple to an Orange is a lot easier then comparing an Apple to a mutant Porcupine.
Kinda like with high level languages, if you learn C you can easily learn Fortran and/or Pascal ... etc. They are different but there are a lot of similarities.
