Any tv calibration "DIY" dvds?

Has anyone out there gone out and thrown a bunch of test patterns togeather on an burnable ISO?

All the calibration stuff i see is $30+, dosent seem simple patters should cost that much really...

The calibration discs have much more than a few patterns, I bought Avia and don't regret it

If you read the DVD information on the site, it says Color: Y, well it better fvcking have color, how in the hell would you calibrate your tv if it's in B/W? :p

Yeah, it's a good DVD. I have Video Essentials, Digital Video Essentials, AVIA, Sound & Vision Test Disk, and the THX calibration stuff from a few DVD's. DVE's navigation isn't the easiest to use, but it's probabably the best of the group for functionality.

Avia and DVE are really great.

What's even better than the patterns is you'll learn a whole heck of a lot as well. My favorite is still the color decoder checks.
