I'm just about ready to order parts to make an A64 / 754 rig, but I'm wondering if I ought to wait another week...someone pointed out this article in aonther thread. I realize that nobody likely *knows* whether a price drop will happen or not, but what do you think the odds are? Also, do price drops like that have much effect on lower-end chips? I'm looking at buying a 3000+ for $164; I wonder how much the price might change.

I can; I'm not in any rush. I'm just impatient 😛 Besides, I know they'll always drop at some point. I was just wondering if they were going to drop that soon.
