If so what do you run and what are your times and goals?

4x400
4x800
400m - best = :55, goal = :52
800m - best = 2:15, goal = 2:05
an occasional 200m if needed

BTW I'm a sophomore in high school

I ran indoor track my junior and senior year of high school

200 m = 22.8

400 m = 49.7

800 m = 2:03 (only ran once...too far for me 🙂)

400 meter was my money race 🙂

Same here. My goal by the time I get out of highschool is somewhere around 48-49.

Myself and 4 or 5 other guys have been doing pre-season running since Cross Country was over, hopefully that will help out some.

is that goal for indoor or outdoor? usually you can run a couple seconds faster in outdoor track. My track coach was mad cuz I didn't run outdoor. She projected i'd probalby run a low 47 if I did but I had to play baseball 🙂

good luck! track rocks!

ah, I had a blast with indoor track. I anchored the 4x400 team we had and was always in the same position every time I got the stick. The same team would always be about 20-30 meters ahead of us and I'd cruise by him for the win 🙂 or fool around and just draft him for a little bit then kick it at the end.

Damn fast people😉

400- 56.8
200- 24.7
300H 44.4
55H 9.03

All are outdoor times except 55H.

I'm a junior in HS.

Sorry...can't help you with the time reports; I was an LD'er. That's right, one of the nerdy ones.

My best 1600m time was 4:55. Possibly the most euphoric day I've ever lived through. 🙂

You could have ran a lot faster if you had ran spring...
I guess you were running on a 200 meter indoor track... it might take a second or a second and a half off if you had ran the same race on a 400 meter track.
