Any tips, warnings for transfering home ownership?

Well my brother and my parents bought a house together under their names and I were fresh out of school so I was not ready. But now, we want to trade my brother and I in the ownership of the house. Is there anything that I should pay attention to? And no, we are not trying to setup each other or screw each other up. Thanks.
