Without a specific purpose or goal in mind, I tend to go wild in Photoshop. This just happens to be the avenue I was exploring at the point in time in which I became distracted.:clock:

I like to concentrate on the subject and discard extraneous info. Looks like the EOS 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS lens.

Looks like chroma noise added there - too much fill light adjustment probably.

He probably used too much fill light adjustment in the RAW editor. Looks about like what happens when you crank that up too much.

without any directions, I'd just photochop the Canon out and replace it with a giant cock, but that's just me.

Thanks

BTW that is the notorious Alfa147x ;)

I like it. I also rather like jpeyton's edit as well. Unfortunately, my laptop's really slow and my desktop is over a thousand miles away :(

I really like jpeyton's version as well but i love the color of that shirt really would hate to take away from it

I like it, except for the highlight clipping at the sun, which then got uniformly pulled back with the rest of the image. Use a Levels Adjustment layer to stretch the highlights back up. Here's my go at it starting from your JPEG: http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/1802/alfaal7.jpg

The vignetting is a tad more than I would use, but to each their own.
And how the heck did youse all get the sky colors to come out without butchering the foreground?
