Any tips on crossfire?

I have been building for >20 yrs for personal use, but I have never done crossfire. I think I did SLI with 3DFX Voodoo2 ages ago... Anyway, anyone have any tips for me, anything I need to know? I just ordered an open box ASUS 5850 from NE to pair with my existing HIS 5850 - which is heavily overclocked and customized.

Should I reset my existing card to stock? Should I try to overclock the new card to the same level? Does it matter if they are clocked differently? Anything else I need to know? (System is in signature - mobo and PSU are Crossfire ready).

Just make sure they're clocked the same, I'd try and overclock the new card to the same as existing card but go back to stock if any problems. Otherwise its a breeze-attach crossfire bridge, make sure crossfire checked in ccc and all the rest is obvious.
