Be prepared for lots of Priests/Bishops who want you to send the laptop to thier daughter/son/cousin/dog who is studying/working in Nigeria. Oh, and you'll have to hurry too, since the priest/bishop will be leaving for holiday soon. Don't worry though, he'll take take care of shipping with his own service, and he will pay by USPS money order or a cashiers check.

Cool, got what appears to be my first one! 🙂 50/50 though, what do you think?

Hello.
I wish to buy from you powerMac. But I shall move in other city.
You can send it on my new address.
To this address there lives my sister (USA). She will receive PowerMac for me.
I shall pay with credit card via PayPal.
Please answer as soon as possible. Thanks.

Buyer has 1 feedback from a user who has 14 feedbacks...hmm...
LOL. If these buyers are so interested why do they ALWAYS send an email in horrible English with the same ol' situation?? If they were genuinely interested people they'd bid on it and pay you and it would get shipped normally.

Disregard and ignore this idiot.

LOL... he wants from you PowerMac, yet there was not a single mention of PowerMac in your auction.

Is there a site that has archives of these kind of messages/emails? Kinda like that site with a lot of tech support call logs. I could read these scammer emails all day cause they are typed so badly yet essentially all the same.

I know, right? Well, I have a Buy-it-Now option for like $1650, so if he really wants it that bad he'll do that. Here was my response; I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt:

USERNAME, this is not a PowerMac, this is an Intel Mac. Please be sure it is what you want. I will ship to any of the lower 48 states in the continental United States. If you win the bid, I will ship the computer after your credit card clears. Thank you!

How long does it take Paypal to figure out if a credit card is stolen or fake? I don't want to get paid, ship it, then have Paypal swipe the money because I got ripped off...

Edit: Username changed to protect identity 😀

Yep. One of those idiots won the auction for my 700m last week. I thought about pulling some sort of p-p-p-powerbook scam back at him, but I just blew him off.
