Any tips for painting a case?

I just got my new begie 🙂 case and want want to apint it, black i think. I was going to just use spray paint on teh case and brush it on aroufd teh lights and switches. Is this a bad idea? I wsa also going to CAREFULLY brush paint teh drive fronts, being super careful laround lights and buttons. again, bad idea? anyone done this?

I tried just doing one coat of black on my Inwin, but it looked like crap 🙂

I would sand down your case beforehand, then do 5 or 6 coats of paint, plus one or two coats of clear-coating. This makes the paint-job look a lot more professional. You can check out my case pics in my sig to see how mine turned out. I ended up doing a mottled red/black mix which I thought looked better all around.

I would just say go slow and good luck 🙂
