I recently decided to go back to get a graduate degree that requires calculus. Unfortunately I never took calc in highschool or college and havn't taken a math class for about 14 years.
Anyway I took the placement exam after picking up a math refresher and learning some trig and was placed in the calculus class. I start in January and am trying to get prepared for it by picking up the "Calculus made easy" by Thompson, getting a decent graphing calculator, and have been hitting some calculus websites. Any other "tips" to help someone prepare (not just get by) for class in the next month? Thanks!
