I made a mistake and took an evening nap and now I can't sleep. I was pretty tired for some reason around 4pm and I slept till 9pm. I have work tomorrow at 8am and I can't sleep now. this sucks.

Stay very still without moving unneccasarily (sp?), and think about floating in the clouds and how comfortable your bed is.

bend over and spin around realy fast and try not to fall down. After about 15-20 rotations, quickly stand up and hold your breath. Vioala! Unconciousness!

On a serious note, exercise more during the day. Back when I was going to the gym, I had no issues falling asleep just from an hour of working out earlier that day. But ever since an injury that has kept me from working out, I notice that I have a much harder time falling asleep at night.
