Howdy!

If you have read me earlier post you know I am trying to make my computer as silent as possible. Supposedly the Geforce3Ti200 can run without a fan. Probably most will ship it with a fan anyway to appeal a broader user base (both normal users and overclocker).

So, what I would like is, if you hear/read/see any GF2Ti200-based card without a fan, post info here so I can look it up and maybe put get my hands on it.

Also, feel free to post about cards with fans where the fan is extremely silent. Just as a reference, the stock fan on my Asus GF2 Deluxe is not quiet, and the Blue Orb (4600rpm) I got is definately not quiet! :)

The Abit Siluro Geforce2 MX 400 64MB DDR has no fan, just a heatsink. Pretty good performance card.

Out of curiosity, if one wanted a quiet video card, couldn't one purchase a really great GF3 Ti200 (e.g., the Leadtek) and remove the fan? One might have to replace the manufacturer's heatsink with an aftermarket model that anticipates no fan, but that shouldn't be difficult.

I'm running a reference NVIDIA GF3 Ti200 w/o fan at 200/460.
