Any thoughts on gateways 42" plasma TV/Monitor ?

looks like gateway is trying their hand at that 1996 concept of hybrid PC/TV thing again with a $3000 42" plasma tv.

anybody seen this thing ?

looks like a killer monitor if it runs at a decent resolution. Or at least a cheap price on a nice TV ...

There's a thread in hot deals about this monitor... well it's about a Sampo monitor, but this gateway is supposed to be a rebadged Sampo anyway
