any thoughts on G.SKILL?

i will be using 3800 x2 as my cpu and dfi lanparty ultra-d. is G.SKILL 2 x 1gb DDR500 good memory? should i go with it? or look into other memories? here is the link:

G.Skill is excellent, top-shelf memory. Some of their RAM requires pretty high voltages, though. Make sure your motherboard supports the necessary voltages especially if you intend to overclock.

Yes.

I chose that memory for my friend... So I'l see how it turns out, since he also chose the ultra-d.

QFT. The OP will do fine, he has a DFI Lanparty board, which will give the RAM all the voltage it needs and then some.
