Any thermaltake Tsunami owners?

Search did not show any results in the forum here but newegg has so many reviews I figured there has to be a few owners on anandtech.
Looking to replace my antec super lanboy. Just want something with more room for working in it and better airflow. Need a front door to hide power/reset/drive bays.
They had a couple other black ones but this was less after MIR.

Link is for black color but they also have aluminum.

Any personal experience or other suggestions?

My brother bought one for his computer (which I built). Overall, it seems to be a great, solid case.

I really can't think of one thing that I didn't like about it. If I wasn't a fan of full towers, I'd probably buy one for myself.

The "mirror" finish on the black ones really does look nice, and it's so much quieter than this jet engine (sig).

From those pics, it looks like you can't open the right case panel. WTF? BTW, it's the same as the Antec SLK3000B, except it's aluminum.

I own the Thermaltake Soprano, which is nothing more than a Tsunami with a plastic front door. I gotta say that I have been very inpressed. Lots of room (Im running a Panaflow 120mm fan with adapter on top of a Thermaltake CL-P0006 heatsink and I have ample room when i close the panel; the extra fan on the sidewindow on my model really helps bring cool air into the processor fan.

Very solid and sturdy, easy to remove items you dont want (I took the audio inputs off from the top of the case. excellent airflow. And Im sure that with a metal material, the front door is even sturdier than the plastic one. great case, and you know its gonna be cool inside with Thermatake written on it.

I've used the Tsunami, and I can't say I recommend it. It may appeal to some, but it definitely does not appeal to me.

Thanks for the input so far.

Can you be specific about your issues with it?

It feel flimsy. It seems to scratch too easily. I end up breaking parts off of it. 🙁

My game PC is a TT Tsunami. I like the case a lot. It was pretty easy to hide wires, it's very light, good cooling and has tons of room.

The side panels are very light/flimsy so you need to be careful. The front door is very solid and works great. I'd love it if it had a reversible door.

thanks.

Since I am coming from a Super Lanboy I'm already use to scratches. It will stay in the "cubbyhole" in my desk anyways. And there's no way it's any flimsier than the lanboy.

Any other suggestions before I order?
Any better prices for cases (free shipping, etc.) to order it from or is newegg the cheapest?

I have one as well and some issues I ran into were:

1) If you plan on taking the side panels off often, don't even put the thumb screws on, as the threads could worn out prematurely (one on mine).
2) The top panel (to hide USB, 1394, headphone, microphone) is not built well, it actually broke on mine, but I managed to fix it.
3) The same top panel has a steel plate inside the top of the case that could intefere with some wires.
4) The motherboard standoffs may strip the threads if tightened too much.

I actually got it for about $70 AR from CompUSA during last year's holiday craze, but I'm looking to replace it with another Stacker if the shipping cost weren't so high.

Thanks for all the comments. I went ahead and ordered it. I know it's not perfect but it's a pretty decent case so it should work wel..
