Any Texas Hold'em players?

Where do you play online? I am just trying to improve my skills. Don't want to gamble any real money but that is part of the problem I run into.

The places I have found are full of freaking morons. I have no chance at getting better. Yeah I can beat the idiots that bluff everytime but that doesn't help me improve my reads of the table. Since it isn't real money, they will just bluff until they can win a huge pot. It is really pointless. It is so bad that I rarely played a hand. They would be betting insane amounts before the flop.

Any place online with serious players that are just trying to have fun and learn?

are you trying to improve your skills in general or online only? I'm not sure about where you are, but I go to the Indian Reservations for practice.....always a game available, usually 3-6 is the lowest, but once in a while a 2-4 game comes up......and the fools there, you get practice and get paid.....just be sure you go on the 1st and 15th of every month....(when their welfare checks come in the mail)

oh, forgot to mention, you'll never get real practice w/out playing for real money....you can get w/ your friends and have everyone put money in a pot, and just start w/ the same amount of chips...that's practice...winner takes all or divvy it up...

Well just online at first. I just started playing the game two days ago. I need to get better at figuring out the odds before I go into a real casino. And I am not near any indian reservations at the moment.

The place I have been playing at is Pacific Poker. There are some talented players there but so many idiots that just go on and run their money dry. Then sign again to get the credits back. Basically they make the game impossible to read when it comes to how people are betting.

Poker.com is pretty good. Get the software..they have many money tables...but they have a few "play" money tables too.

dont you need to look at the other players to really play poker i mean u have to learn to read a person not just the way they bet

there's nothing like doing the actual thing and learning from experience. ie: think college and how well it prepared u for your job.

just goto vegas. there's low limit poker. so u wont lose your shirt
