Can someone write a few pages for guiding people in adjusting the RPM of fans?
It could have links to and info about different types of fans.
May be information about how you can drop the RPM and how that has a negative effect on cooling and the necessary warning for it.
It could have links to utilities to use to monitor the temperature.
Perhaps, information and examples on how some motherboards or graphics cards allow this to be controlled through a software utility.
It could have detail information about the basics like using resistors or diodes for dropping the voltage and the pros and cons of each.
