Any suggestions?

So i just installed my eVGA 6800, and try to see what Doom 3 recommends for graphical settings. It seems to think i'm best suited for 640 x 480, low quality. My rig:

Pentium 2.4
512mb rambus
eVGA 6800

any thoughts? i ran it at 1280 x 1024, medium, and the framerate was around 30-40, but it did seem to stutter a lot when going though doors (i presume into new areas that require accessing the HD).

Any ideas? installed the newest drivers from the eVGA site, didn't seem to help.

1024x768 High Quality is very smooth on my 5900XT, a 6800 should be quite a bit faster. I'd try 1280x960 High Quality or 1027x768 High Quality, 2x AA.

From my experience last night when you click the evaluate system button it doesn't give you the recommended resolution, just the other graphic options.
