So far for the new rig that I'm getting soon. The cases that are in consideration is the Enlight 7237 w/300W PS & the Inwin S500 w/300W PS Mid-Towers for my AMD based system... any suggestions or recommendations for cases that I'm not aware of?.. nothing too expensive as I'm working on a budget. Trying to look for a very good value based case here.. thanks!

Either of those are damn fine cases. I could mention others, and some people probably will, but too many options can make you crazy. :) And heck, when you're limited to excellent choices like those, consider yourself lucky. It's not like you're choosing between two crappy cases there.

Globalwin make a fanatastic case (802 I think it's called), spacious, looks good, very easy to work with and runs cool. Not too pricey either.

CTGDirect.com sells the new Enermax cases, I've seen several threads where the purchasers have been pleased. Monarch Computers offers the Enlights with 300w Sparkle psu's, might check them out as well.

Going too cheap on a case is usually a mistake, the first place they cut corners is on the psu. You get some 4 oz. fly weight unit rated at 300w- Riiight, You bet, uh huh....

I'm looking to get a new case also. I was also looking for suggestions. I have looked at all the cases suggested here, and they don't really appeal to me. Any other ideas?

for a value case, you can't go wrong with either the enlight or in-win.

TruculentTucan > go to antec's website and see if you like their newest offering the sx630/sx650. it's the same as the sx830, but shorter. it's gonna be available at retail stores starting august/september.

Best case moneywise and construction is the Supermicro 760A Full Tower. only 140 bucks on pricewatch with a 300 PS. Stay away from aluminum cases if you are looking long term. Aluminum cases are flimsy and the screws strip out easily. Stick with good old sheet metal cases. Supermicro definitly makes the thickest sheet metal cases around and what Antec cases lack is in the detail inside. Antec used to make cases for supermicro but Never designed them so when they spit off so to speak, their design has always been one step behind. Supermicro uses more modern fan cages and most importantly, tons of pre-cut holes inside. This is a case that will live through mod after mod.

the thing I'm not sure of is whether the PSU supplied by Enlight and Inwin are AMD approved or not..
