Well, my gf3 ti200 clocked at gf3ti500 levels would love a new mobie and cpu. I currently have an athlon 200mhz fsb cpu @ 1391 mhz on the old kt-133 with pc-133 sdram. I was wondering if i should go up for the new northwood coupled with pc 3300 ddr mem and a sis 645 mobie, or a kt-266a or kt-333 mobie with a 1700 + xp athlon? Any ideas, or should i wait for the thouroughbreds? NAy ideas on what is the best p4 mobie out there, not interested in the i850, but more deciding what's the best, sis 645 or i845d or p4x266a or should i wait for the sis 645dx? Thanks.
 
I'm considering the upcoming SiS 648 chipset that provides support for 533mhz FSB, DDR400, USB 2.0, ATA133, & AGP 8x.
 
My epox 4sda+ runs pretty stable at 138 fsb (1.6a cost rica at 2.2 gigs) with plain micron pc2100. This board will work with pc2700. You can use the 4/5 ratio for pc2700 when running above 120 fsb. If you upgrade now, I would consider your budget and focus on finding quality 5 or 6 ns ddram for overclocking. This board without raid is only $86, and has adjustments for agp and ddram voltage. The cpu vcore goes to about 1.85.
