Any suggestions for a web host that supports FrontPage extensions?

I don't need a whole lot of band width and 80mb would be enough space.

Just looking for something not expensive and that is reliable.

YES, I did do an anandtech search before posting this.

Thanks for the input!

Easy - readyhosting.com gives you that and TONS more. Just click around and you'll see what they offer for $99/yr ($8.25/mo.). I've had them for 2 years now...

If you wanna check their speed, click on my page below... it has to load 367kb. ;)

Make sure to get one where you can un/reinstall the extensions yourself, because FP extensions are EVIL and can be easily corrupted.

I use dixiesys and have frontpage extensions. I've got their $20/year plan and it works great. I did have to email them to turn frontpage extensions on as it wasn't by default (at least not on their cheap plan), but they did it right away.

Use Dixiesys HERE

It's their cheap version and mentions Frontpage right there.

I've been using them for almost a year now and have not had one problem.

Why even use Front Page, it is right up there with RealPlayer...
How was I the first to ask this?

I am surprised no one gave me a hard time for using FrontPage too.

My html is poor and I can't figure out DreamWeaver (I don't have a manual).

Should I use my NetObjects Fusion?

Thank you.

I have used Dixiesys for almost a year and haven't had any problems (except for when they moved me to a newer server for free and upgraded me from CobaltRaq to Plesk software).

They do support MS FrontPage but you have to request it with a simple e-mail.

I'd say Dixiesys is more suited for a personal web site (after all look at their unbelievably low prices).

Your best bet to find the perfect webhosting company (I recommended this to Adul and it worked!) is to check out WebHostingTalk.com check out their Web Hosting Requests which is awesome, post what you want (in detail along with the monthly and annual price you'd like) and within hours you'll be flooded with offers.

What's your monthly budget?

Thanks for the detailed response RossMAN. My monthly budget would be less than $10. I would also like the site to be able to support a decent forum (the forum wouldn't need to be a ColdFusion forum like this...I probably couldn't afford it anyway).

Cheapest plan is $50/year, then it's monthly rates. They're great; never had any problems. They basically use unmanaged RackShack servers with their own tech support team. They also give out insane bandwidth for cheap. If you're wondering, they host our site (see sig).

As for forums, there are a lot of freebies out there. You don't really need Fusetalk (ColdFusion based, what this forum uses) but if you're planning to run the site for a while I suggest you buy a copy of VBulletin; it's the next best thing and it's always being improved. Costs $160 one time fee with a year of free updates. Then it's $35/year if you want to get the new versions/patches/etc.
