Any suggestion for a good LCD for about the $700 range?

Planar 17.4" LCD from Dell. I have one and it kicks ass. I use it for gaming with no complaints.
 
KDS RAD 7. I don't have this personally but I have plenty of close friends that do. I have seen this LCD in action and it was incredible, no ghosting streaking etc. while playing UT or Q3. I like the price too, depending on your location, Sam's club (Wal-Mart) had the RAD 7 for $500.00 WOW. Not sure about the current price there now though. I just remeber how impressed I was with the unit.
 
Another vote for a Planar from dell.com. I have the 18.1" and it rules. The 17.4 is well within your price range and has the same specs as the 18.1, it should be sweet as well.
 
I have seen the Rad-7 in person, and it is a clean monitor w/ a very attractive price.
 
I saw the KDS 17LCD at Sams today and it was on sale for $400! It wasn't up and running though. I wonder how it looks in games...
 
I have a Planar 18.1" and the 17.4" is exactly the same, this monitor is unbelievable. I would look no further than the Planar.
 
Wow this seems like a good deal. I have a question for anyone that is in San Diego, CA. The site gives me an estimate of $0 for tax and shipping, is this right?!? If so, this is a VERY GOOD deal. LMK. Thanks.
