Any of Brother's laser printers will do you well. I have a ton of them at work, and have an MFC-8640D on my desk at home. The thing is a beast, but it's fast, the toner is damn cheap, and it duplexes.
I would say either a samsung or Brother; however I heard that the Brother printers waste ink because the ink levels run off of a counter rather than actual use. so if you print 2500 text pages it will obviously use less ink but the printer assumes that you used more. so when it thinks its empty you have to throw away the remaining ink. I have read many user reviews staing this and some have even taken the cartridges to a professional ink shop and have found quite a bit of the toner has to be wasted because of the design defect. This is what stops me from getting a brother printer. I think the samsungs are getting good reviews and seem to be the best for the money compared to others. There are better printers but also cost a lot more. Brothers are very good from what I read and offer a lot for the money with low cost per page by calculation, but just keep in mind that you will be wasting more ink than necessary.
