Whose idea was it to make the enter button so big? :p .. here's my question:

I am taking AP stats and am wondering if a clouded residual plot or a high correlation coefficient is a better judge of a "good fit" ..

what do you mean by a clouded residual plot? if by that you mean they're all close together..then that's a bad thing..you want them to be as random as possible.

a high correlation coefficient would suggest that a lot of the data does follow a good "pattern", and so your line would be a good "fit".

not really.... you get to work on all these different problems.... you probably work on more projects as a statistician than you would as anything else.
