I am using a brand new NIB ECS PT800CE-A Motherboard (P4/Pentium 4 Prescott). The CPU is P4 3.0GHz 512K L2 Cache with HT (Northwood) which is working in another computer. The video card is CompUSA Radeon AGP 9200 128MB memory. But I can't get the POST message in monitor. Tried another CPU P4 3.0E 1M L2 Cache with HT (Prescott) and got the same situation. I did hear a weak beep after power on. It looks like there is no signal to monitor. What could be the problem? Very appreciate any suggestion. Actually, I tried half a month and feel so frustrated now.

No beep for the post is common for some ecs motherboards. My nforce2 is the same. I would place the motherboard on a phonebook, and try just one stick of memory with cpu/heatsink, and your video card. Be sure to connect the 4 pin 12v lead from the power supply, as well as the power switch lead. I doubt your video card is the problem. Ecs bios' can be probablamatic with some power supplies and video cards. If you bought this combo at Fry's, you have 30 days to swap the mobo, and 15 for the cpu. I once swapped boards 4 times before getting a good one that would post consistently.
